
Step Into the Creative Process: Playwright & Actor Workshop
Description
Are you a writer eager to hear your words come to life? An actor excited to explore fresh, original work? Whether you are an emerging playwright, a seasoned storyteller, or an actor ready to dive into new roles, this workshop is for you.
At Spokane Playwrights Laboratory, we believe that great theatre starts with bold ideas and fearless collaboration. This hands-on workshop is a chance to develop new scripts, bring characters to life, and engage in a supportive, creative process—no matter your experience level.
What to Expect:
Playwrights: Share your work, hear it read aloud, and refine your script with live feedback and collaboration. At the end of this workshop, you will have a 10 minute script ready for performance.
Actors: Step into dynamic new roles, work directly with playwrights, and shape stories in real time. At the end of this workshop, you will perform an original 10 minute script for a live audience.
